UK iPod prices as expected

UK iPod prices as expected

As expected the new line of iPod’s from Apple do not stay fair to the US prices.
If you buy an iPod touch in the US it will cost you $299 or £147.87. But if you buy one in the UK it will cost you £199 for the same capacity iPod touch. That price is inclusive of VAT. However, £147 + VAT only comes to £173 so you still pay a further £26 for the same machine. This isn’t only true of Apple. Sony’s Playstation 3 in the UK (starting price) £425. If you buy a PS3 in the US, you would pay less and get a better machine. And I think I speak for us all when I say; all we want, is fair, official currency change prices, with the same level of machine as everybody else for the same price. It really can’t be that difficult. It is time we stood up for ourselves and stopped taking it up the arse from America and Japan. Also, synchronised global releases. No more waiting! That isn’t fair.
